uncelebrated birthday

 Happy birthday honey!!!

you are another year older today.

may u be a wiser husband and father :p

i feel guilty for not celebrating.

there is just too many things happening, today!

ONE- we are moving into our new house tomorrow.

TWO- a colleague's wedding tonight

THREE - in laws are coming tonight with an entourage of 10 guests!

last minute chores and cleanup today, in the midst of everything else, i must not forget to pump milk every 3 hourly.

lack of sleep for the entire week!

i know you are dead beat tired too.

i did not contribute much to this house as u did most of the plannings and you DIY :)

as I've mentioned,

this year is a memorable year.

with our second addition to our family!

baby matty!

and my dramatic pregnancy and labour!

and kJ goes to school!

it is quite overwhelming, no?

we are exhausted.

but i know we feel blessed.

may u be strong (mentally and physically) and loving to your children and your wife, always.

we can't live without you.

oh, kj forgot to buy u a cake today :(

surfing in KK

i miss my merman!!!!!

yes,i initially started this blog with him being a merman :)

because he loves the SEA.

WATER.

now that we are not home, the single boy goes SURFING! 

in KK!

one evening, it was raining, he couldnt go to the field, he suggested bringing us to the beach instead.

HUH???????

raining and u want to bring us to the beach?

i complied and that was all!

would be my first and my last darling!

ended up going home with a long face.

lols.

well, this father says he lost to me JUST BECAUSE he could not breastfeed.

because he does not have milk.

he would PAY if u have recipes for him to lactate.

haha

he proposed that i express my milk and he will bottle feed.

including midnight feeds.

"why not?" he pronounced!

 children, that shows how much your dad loves you.

despite not being able to sacrifice in this term.

in future if i have osteoporosis or any nutrient deficient related illness,

it is his fault.

dialogues that i must remember

i had a workshop and came home near 6pm today.

found hubs in the kitchen and our conversation went like this:

let me warn u first, dont say that i did not. being a housewife aint easy!

i knew! that is why i said i needed a maid as well! "

thats not considered a housewife!

then i'll be the babysitter.

then you are becoming the tai-tai

well, but deep inside i was elated because it meant that he knew housewife is not an easy job, as how this occupation is commonly portrayed.

nevertheless, at this very minute, i just wanna be me. i feel so freaking tired. :)

oh! another story that i need to immortalize here.

happened just last week in the car.

i admonished KJ for jumping out from his car seat while the father is driving.

he quickly sat down and wailed " dont be angry at me mommy. dont scold me. im saddd.... "

???? did he say he is sad???

instantly i apologized.

then, at night the father mocked me "so, how did u feel when your son did that in the afternoon?"

erm, i did not expect him to say that, but well, if he was really sad, i would feel bad. but i wasnt sure if he was faking it. heh

 the hubs brought us to a korean restaurant on my birthday this year!

we dined at Korean BBQ Supul, City Mall.
the bill was astonishingly cheap! :) we had 5-6 dishes that night and i thought the meal would cost more than RM200! but i think it was barely RM100. madness!
nevertheless, the food was satisfactory but not genuinely korean.
i missed the korean restaurant in Api-Api.
