Mak's grandfather claimed to serve wantan noodles to Chiang Kai Shek.
wantan noodle is an obligatory dish to try in HK!
i jumped at the sight of this restaurant and you wouldnt know how happy i was to know that we were going to Mak's!
wheeeEEEE
the notoriously modest wantan noodle!
hkd 25 i think
tasty TASTY soup!
the shrimp has a smokey taste to it ;)
fresh shrimps.
pick any shrimp dish in any lauya shops, u'll still get fresh, crunchy translucent ones.
Hongkies never skimp on quality eh?;)
Braised Beef Noodle
yummy beef!
soft and tender!
Tsim Chai Kee, opposite Mak's.
Some said Mak is more for tourist, and Tsim is where the locals go.
oh well, i shall try Tsim next time! ;)
it is a lot cheaper in Tsim. whee! good for my pocket!;)
it is about half the price of Mak's:)
