Asthma attack in eczema patient

july 2013

this guy...makes me speechless sometimes.

we were back in my mom's house for my confinement and this fella was coughing his lungs out until one afternoon he was wheezing like a lawn mower when he was sleeping.
so we (mom and i) decided to take him to the hospital.
i waited in the car with matty while mom took this imp to the casualty.

the MO there attended to him and told mom kesian....dia susah nak bernafas, and put him on this mask.

he took it like a pro.
-_____-

then mom went back to the car, leaving him alone there and mom took over matty.
so i walked in to check on this boy, in my sarong.

i was O.O when i saw him like this.
he acted as though he lives in this hospital!
he was comfortably sitting on the chair alone and holding the mask to his face.
this boy is too cheeky!
the moment he saw me, he chatted NON STOP!

well anyway, this is just one episode.
i was worried and the dad was also anxious, asked me to get him MDI salbutamol.

what is a MDI without aerochamber for a kid this age?

hubs managed to get 2 or was it 3 types of chamber home.

i was worried the doctor would diagnose him as asthmatic.
because he is an eczema patient.
children with eczema are predisposed to asthma.
Read this.

after the nebuliser, he felt good.
he went home coughing less, for just a couple of hours.
he says he needs to go back to the hospital when he started coughing again.

i hope it wont come back.

last month back here,
he had a bad cough and high fever, at 38.3 celcius,
we started him on Augmentin syrup for 5 days.
housemate diagnosed him with pneumonia, either mild-severe.
